元祖ウォンハルメ・ソムンナン・タッカンマリ

□ 強火で10分 鶏一羽のほかにネギ、エリンギ、トック(餅)、ジャガイモ


東大門総合市場に隣接した細い路地に、焼き魚横丁に続き、タッカンマリ横丁という、いわば鶏の水炊きのお店が数件続くエリアがあり、その中の元祖を名乗る「ウォンハルメ・ソムンナン・タッカンマリ」というお店に入る。

まあ、ここは文句なしにうまい。スープは複数の漢方素材が長時間煮込まれたものらしい。店の外にはそれらの素材が積まれ、寸胴鍋でグラグラ煮出されている。 かといって、薬臭いニオイがするわけでもなく、クセのない濃厚な鶏の出汁に仕上がっている。

薬味ダレもまたよくできていて、甘酸っぱい醤油ダレは、実においしい甘み。薬味が刻まれたキャベツとニラってのも勉強になる。鶏一羽分を食べ終わるころには、スープも超濃厚な状態となり、クッス(うどん)を入れてシメとなる。残ったスープがあまりにももったいなく感じられ、ごはんをもらっておじやにしたいところだが、どうにもおなかいっぱいで断念。今でも心残り。
